Beth Hovee Office Manager & Research Associate

Beth Hovee is responsible for firm accounting, records management and office reception, as well as market and socioeconomic impact interview research. Beth has special expertise for tourism and conference center concept development — including the eco-tourism and conference market niche for Skamania Lodge in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and Lewis River Valley. Socioeconomic assessments have covered light
rail development, mining operations, salmon
fishing and recovery, and natural resource management.

Beth draws on ten years' experience as a photojournalist for newspapers in Iowa, Florida, and Washington. Beth graduated from the University of Missouri with a B.S. in Home Economics Journalism. She has experience in neighborhood revitalization and as a downtown Main Street manager. As a community activist, she is involved in event planning, fundraising, grant writing, and the formation of non-profit organizations.
