Eric Hovee Principal

Since the mid-1970s, Eric Hovee has focused on the practice of economic and development services. Managing his business to achieve first-rate service tailored to the unique needs of each private, non-profit or public agency client priority #1. Before opening this economic and development consulting firm in 1984, Eric served as Economic Development Manager for the City of Vancouver, Washington, and in a similar capacity for the City of Portland, Oregon.

Eric's experience ranges from conducting market and feasibility studies to strategic business planning to negotiating complex public-private development projects. He has served as an instructor and speaker for organizations such as the National Main Street Center, U.S. Conference of Mayors, National Council for Urban Economic Development, and for statewide planning and development organizations in Washington, Oregon and California. At home, he has been involved in public-private boards and commissions for housing, workforce, and economic development.
