Paul Dennis Associate Principal

Working with E. D. Hovee & Company, LLC since 1990, Paul Dennis' assignments have ranged from industrial and natural resource development to downtown revitalization to public policy evaluation. He provides forecasting, market and financial feasibility evaluations, impact analyses, fiscal planning, government program assessment, development programming, light rail transit planning, master planning, and project management. Paul also has extensive experience with IMPLAN input-output economic modeling.

While earning his B.A. in Economics from Western Washington University , Paul helped develop a composite index of leading economic indicators to gauge changes in Whatcom County 's economic climate, as well as developing an employment forecasting model published in the Center for Economics and Business Research's Issues and Trends in Business and Economics. A former City Council representative for Camas, Washington , Paul now serves as city’s the Mayor. During his tenure, he has assisted City and downtown stakeholders in a visioning process intended to guide downtown Camas' revitalization. In addition to private consulting through his own Columbia Planning Group, Paul maintains an ongoing capacity with E. D. Hovee.
